Gender-Affirming Care Prep / Letters
We believe gender-affirming medical care is healthcare, and that trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people are the best authorities on their own lives. We support clients in exploring gender identity, navigating transition-related care, and building self-trust in a world that often questions it. As part of that process, we provide letters for gender-affirming medical procedureswhen documentation is required.
Why Gender-Affirming Therapy?
We provide affirming, trauma-informed support for clients seeking:

-
Letters for HRT, top surgery, or other gender-affirming medical care
-
Preparation for medical consultations or insurance documentation
-
Space to explore gender identity, expression, and personal goals
-
Help navigating family, social, and systemic responses to transition
-
Care that affirms all gender identities and bodies—including nonbinary, transmasculine, transfeminine, agender, and fluid experiences
Our clinicians are trained in WPATH-aligned letter writing and work to ensure that your documentation meets clinical and insurance standards without reducing you to a checklist.
How Letters fit into our Work
Because we are a therapy practice—not an assessment clinic—we provide letters for gender-affirming care only as part of an established therapeutic relationship. That means we do not offer one-time mental health assessments or letters for any individual that we have not gotten to know through ongoing care.

This policy isn’t about gatekeeping—it’s about staying within the scope of what we do best: providing meaningful, affirming therapy. If you’re seeking a e-time assessment or fast-track letter, we’re happy to refer you to trusted providers who specialize in those services. If you're looking for a therapist to walk alongside you as you move through identity, transition, trauma, or simply living more fully as yourself, we’re here.
