Brief Bio: Amanda has over 15 years of social services experience and more than 9 years experience as a child, adult, and family therapist. Within the past 6 years, they have taught over 40 social work, psychology, and sociology classes. They have served the adoption and foster care community for over a decade through writing/editing 12 books and completing numerous speaking engagements, trainings, community organizing, policy advocacy, and direct clinical practice in post-adoption support. Brief Bio: Stephanie has over 6 years of social services experience and more than 4 years of experience as a child, adult, and family therapist. She serves on the board of multiple adoption-related advocacy and education organizations. For the past several years, she has served the adoption and foster care community for over a decade through publishing, speaking engagements, training, community organizing, policy advocacy, and direct clinical practice in post-adoption support with an emphasis on transracial adoption and racial identity. Stephanie's specializations include working with individuals impacted by foster care, adoption, childhood institution (hospitalizations and residential treatment facilities), transracial/racial identity, and racial trauma. She works alongside her clients and families to guide as they embark on the journey of healing and self-actualization.

Kristen Townley, LSW

Brief Bio: Kristen works with tweens, teens, and transitional aged young people struggling with trauma, issues relating to sexuality and gender, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and identity challenges, and significant life transitions. Kristen has extensive social services experience across a variety of issues and human need. This included residential treatment, through intensive behavioral health services, and systems advocacy. Kristen is a recent MSW graduate from West Chester University building clinical specialization in issues experienced by tweens, teens, and young adults - particularly LGBTQIA+ issues. They are client-centered, non-judgmental, affirming, and adept at building mutually respectful relationships with young people.
