Limited Time: Free Therapy for People Displaced by Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene made landfall in late September 2024 as a Category 4 hurricane, causing widespread destruction across Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Our therapists are concerned for the overall wellbeing of those who lost so much in this storm. We know this is a time of immense uncertainty and upheaval, and finding support can feel overwhelming.
As part of our commitment to community care, for a limited time, we are offering a limited number of pro bono therapy sessions for those displaced to areas where we are licensed to provide telehealth. We want to extend our compassion to those who need it most, especially QTBIPOC individuals, disabled folks, and teens, as they navigate the emotional and psychological toll of this disaster.
Our team is here to offer trauma-informed care, with all of our therapists trained in several helpful modalities including psychological first aid and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT). While resources are limited, we have a limited number of spots available for free therapy. We want to make sure that those seeking help are matched with the therapists who are available, which may include our skilled interns working under clinical supervision.
In addition to therapy, our clients will have a wonderful resource coordinator, Devin, who is here to help with social support needs. From connecting you to community resources to helping manage logistics during this difficult time, Devin is ready to stand by you with the care and attention you deserve.
Our door is open for those who need us, and we hope this small gesture of support can offer some relief as you find your way through these challenging days.
